Personal Property Appraisers Dedicated to Excellence since 1982

Appraisers National Association was founded in 1982 to provide an association dedicated to the Principals and Ethics of Personal Property Appraising. In 1985 the association was formally established with a Board of Directors that was charged with the task of requiring its membership to maintain a program of Continuing Education and promote the improvement of Appraisal Standards. In 1996 ANA incorporated under the name of Research and Appraisal Associates, dba Appraisers National Association, and was granted non-profit status by both the State of California and the Federal Government.

The Association continues to foster its members to expand the Standards and Requirements in order to Promote Public Trust.
